Battelle
Battelle operates Pacific Northwest National Laboratories (PNNL), located in Richland, WA (220 miles southwest of Seattle). PNNL’s mission is to perform basic and applied research to deliver energy, environmental, health, and national security for our Nation by integrating chemical, physical and biological sciences.
Battelle’s role in the SSGCID will be to provide equipment and expertise for NMR-based determination of the structure of a small number of proteins that cannot be solved by X-ray crystallography.
