Seattle Biomedical Research Institute (SBRI)
SBRI is a world-recognized organization with a long track record of research focused on infectious diseases. SBRI is responsible for the overall management for the SSGCID structure determination effort.
SBRI Site Team
Peter Myler, Ph.D., SSGCID Principal Investigator and Director of the SBRI Site Team
Dr. Myler leads SBRI's bioinformatics program while studying the genomics of African and American trypanosomes and Plasmodium. Dr. Myler is also the Scientific Advisor for the SBRI DNA Sequencing Core and the Bioinformatics Core.
Robin Stacy, Ph.D., Senior Project Manager
Dr. Stacy coordinates activities at the four SSGCID participating institutions in addition to functioning as contact liaison for the funding agency.
John Tang, Ph.D., Protein Production Core Supervisor
Dr. Tang oversees SBRI staff carrying out protein production and purification.
Tom Blackwell, M.S., SBRI IT Director
Mr. Blackwell is responsible for IT efforts of the SSGCID.
