Expression Clones

Clones are Available from SSGCID

SSGCID clones represent un-induced expression constructs which have been verified by sequencing from vector primers. There are three ways to search for SSGCID clones:

  • Perform a BLAST search. The clone availability is shown in the "clone" column. The SSGCIDID column provides a link to the SSGCID individual gene page, where all clones for a given target are listed. The gene page also includes clone ordering instructions.

  • Search by annotation (protein name, organism, external reference). Filter results by clone availability. Targets are linked to the SSGCID individual gene page, where all clones for a given target are listed. On each individual target page, instructions for ordering the material are provided.

  • Navigate to the Browse by Genus page. To search for a specific clone, select organism from the organism table (and strain if desired), then filter by annotation. Generally, targets with a status of "expressed" or greater will have clones available. The SSGCIDID column provides a link to the SSGCID individual gene page, where all clones for a given target are listed. The gene page also includes clone ordering instructions.

The charts below show the number of targets, grouped by period of last activity, with clones currently available to order, and the total number of clones distributed during the same period.
