The UW-CryoEM group studies the structures of high-value viral macromolecular complexes involved in the pathogenesis of NIAID Category A-C organisms, with the long-term goal to provide a structural framework for vaccine and/or therapeutic design aiming at preventing or neutralizing infections mediated by these human pathogens.
